No, not the kinds depicted on the right side of the paragraph, the other kind. By now, everyone should have heard about the good Reverend’s latest faux paux. If you haven’t, here is the quote made by Jesse Jackson in front of what was expected to be a dead microphone while awaiting an interview on FOX.
See, Barack been, um, talking down to black people on this faith based … I want cut his nuts off … Barack … he’s talking down to black people.
Shock and outrage….
Please, what else would you expect from this aging race baiting poverty pimp. My take, “sour grapes”… and … two unsuccessful attempts to gain the Democratic nomination. I smell envy. To make matters worse, when Jackson ran, he did not even rise above a whisper of a chance to get the nod, and here comes this guy from out of nowhere who hasn’t paid the “same dues” to steal his thunder and his pulpit.
And about that pulpit, Kenneth Timmerman’s book “Shakedown: Exposing the real Jesse Jackson,” has this to say about Jackson’s ordination as a reverend.
“I describe a two to three year process for earning that title,” Timmerman said. “Jesse Jackson got himself ordained two months after Martin Luther King was shot. It was essentially a ‘political ordination,’ a ’shotgun ordination.’ He did not go through the long procedure. He was not licensed to preach, as far as I could determine. I went to the church where he was ordained. He did not go through this two-year process. He never submitted himself to the authority of the church. He has never had a church himself, and he has been accountable to no one.”
Nuts, every Political Party has got their share, but in this case biggest one of all wants to do a little pruning…

For my day job, this is our busiest time of the year, Which happens to coincide with my other career, Scouting. busiest time of the year. So in the throes of getting the oldest ready and outfitted for summer camp, work, and chairing my usual summertime event, the blogging has had to take a back seat. Not that there nothing to post about, man it has gotten crazy. But my camp starts in a little less than a week, which will take a huge load off of me. And since I’ll have my broadband with me, and little to do in the evenings, I hope to get caught up with everyone here real soon.
Cheers…

“I want you to round up every vicious criminal and gunslinger in the west. Take this down … I want rustlers, cut throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass-kickers, shit-kickers and Methodists”

Nope, I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth. I have, however, bitten off more than I can chew with a volunteer project that I have taken on. So posting maybe really light until the last week in June.
But my real quick observation of the day is, go Hillary… the longer she stays in the race, the worse Obama looks. IMHO, I still think she can pull that rabbit out of the hat.

Well I’ve made the switch… I have fallen in with the “I am what I am because of who we all are” crowd. No I haven’t given up shaving, and deodorant for birkenstocks and patchouli oil, I have simply switched all the desktops and media servers at the house to Ubuntu from Fedora. “Ubuntu” is an ancient African word, meaning “humanity to others”. Ubuntu also means “I am what I am because of who we all are”, which is basically the mantra of the GNU and Opensource community. The Desktop is impressive, and it just works, even on the older hand-me-down PC’s that I’ve handed down to my boys. I have been a proud Fedora supporter and user for years, but it just seems to me that it just gets more bloated with every new release. I tend to like to keep things simple, and Ubuntu fills that niche nicely. It runs on a wide range of PC hardware, and surprisingly has more packages available that I want than the previous Distro I was using, So, if you’ve been wondering where I’ve been, well that should answer it.

As my byline sates, I am your basic typical white guy, and I live in a quiet little bedroom community, with my wife and kids. Today’s installment aims to clear the air of those myths about just what a typical white person is.
Although this list is far from being complete, I hope the information given to you from this post is a start at dispelling some of those myths that people have about white people.

A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but an advertising agency come up with a way to put that figure into some perspective.
Now let’s look at Louisiana Senator, Mary Landrieu’s (D), request asking Congress for $250 billion to rebuild New Orleans . So just how much is 250 billion?
Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, and our nation was the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world.

Yes, yes, we have changed our name again. Recent events in what used to be the GOP being what they are, left me struggling over the last month or so trying to find a more appropriate name. What used to be the conservative party has now been taken over by moderates, leaving us the conservatives, for all practical purposes, homeless. To a conservative, the term moderate is a code word for liberal. It’s like those “independents” you run into that are classic liberals but don’t have the guts to admit that they are indeed a liberal. It’s a shame really, as The Right Stuff points out in the forum, the GOP would have been 152 years old last Saturday. Rich in history, the GOP was originally established as a party to counter the pro-slavery party of the time, the Democrats. Fast forward almost a hundred years, and the same lines were drawn over civil rights. the party that championed civil rights, the GOP, and the party that opposed it, the Democrats. As a party, we have always stood for what is right, until now. We have walked away from the bedrock of the party, strong national defense, limited government, fiscal responsibility. and adherence to the Constitution. And before you Rontards start in with comments about your saviour Ron Paul, stand down, we’ve heard your talking points before, that’s all they are, talking points. Ron Paul is no more a conservative than Dennis “Spaceman” Kucinich.
The choices we used to have are no longer valid. There are no more Republicans, or Democrats. What we now have are “One world, nanny staters” and Marxists. If you listen hard to what the Democrats are saying these days, the hairs should stand up on the back of your neck. Redistribution of wealth through taxation, the taking of money from those people who make and earn it, to the ones who don’t. Both candidates from the lef side of the isle at one time in their career, worked for or studied under one or more card carrying communists, one even espouses a communist as a mentor. On the other side of the coin we have the Country Club Republicans that would sell our nation out from under us for profit. cheap labor, and misguided perception of votes.
So, I am now a man without a party, a true Independent conservative. Hence the new name for the blog. Since the Republican Party is no longer the conservatives party, there is no more need for another Republican Blog. So we have chosen to shift our focus to highlighting the differences of our modern day Political Divide, a study of Right versus Left.
